When can I get food from Palos UMC Food Pantry?
The Palos UMC Food Pantry is open for food distribution on TUESDAYS from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
Please note: The pantry is not open on federal holidays or when the Tuesdays follows a Monday federal holiday.
Where is the Palos UMC Food Pantry located?
The Palos UMC Food Pantry is located inside the Palos United Methodist Church, 12101 S. Harlem Ave. Palos Heights, IL.
Please enter on the north side of the building on pantry days, this is also a handicapped accessible entrance.
How often can I come to the Palos UMC Food Pantry?
Clients are able to come to the Palos UMC Food Pantry two times per month.

The Palos UMC Food Pantry is a client choice food pantry, meaning you get to choose the items that best fit your needs/wants. We are affiliated with the Greater Chicago Food Depository and get the majority of our food items from there, as well as regular donations from many other community churches and organizations. We are able to offer a variety of items such as meat, produce, personal care products, etc.
If you have any other questions, please call the Palos UMC church office at 708-448-0798 and leave a message. (Please note, the phone is not answered during regular pantry hours.) You can also email the church office at [email protected] with any questions or concerns you might have.
How do I donate to the Palos UMC Food Pantry?
We are now able to take monetary donations online, click the GIVE tab on our website for more information.
DONATION DROP - OFF: There is a large beige metal cabinet on the East Side of our building where donations can be dropped off at anytime!
Donations can be also brought to Pantry Door on East Side of building Mondays: 9am-11am (volunteers are here for food truck deliveries) or
Tuesdays: During regular pantry hours: 10am-2pm
